Data Deletion Instructions
Effective: [Effective date] · Last updated: 27 October 2026
You can remove Autonomik's access to your social media accounts at any time, and you can ask us to delete all of your data.
1. Disconnect a social account (immediate)
- Sign in to Autonomik.
- Open Settings › Integrations (الإعدادات › التكاملات).
- Find the connected account (for example Facebook, Instagram or TikTok) and click Disconnect, then confirm.
When you disconnect, Autonomik deletes the stored access token or credentials for that account immediately and, where the platform allows it, also revokes its access at the platform. Posts scheduled to that account will not be published. The same applies to Canva (Settings › Integrations › Canva › Disconnect).
2. Remove access from the platform side
You can also remove Autonomik (or the app you connected through it) directly in the platform's settings, for example:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or Apps and websites) › Remove.
- Instagram: Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites › Remove.
- TikTok, Google/YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest: the "connected apps" or "third-party access" section of your account settings.
Autonomik then can no longer read or publish anything for that account.
3. Request deletion of all your data
Email privacy@your-domain.example from the email address registered to your Autonomik account with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want to delete your personal account only, or your whole organisation (organisation owners only). If you are not a Autonomik user but your data reached us through a customer's connected account (for example a comment or message you sent to a brand), include the platform, your public name or handle and the brand concerned.
We will:
- confirm receipt within 3 business days and may ask you to verify your identity;
- delete the data within 30 days, including account details, brand content, generated media, connected-account credentials and social data;
- let database backups expire within 14 days after that;
- keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example invoices or security records), for no longer than required.
You will receive a confirmation when deletion is complete. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
